There are approximately 1,129 lakes covering 68,447 acres or 106.95 square miles. Just some of the many rivers are Little Rice, Little Somo, Pelican, Somo, Tomahawk, Willow, Wisconsin and the Wolf River.
Oneida County has beautiful white and red pines, jack pine, prairie grasses, maple, hemlock, yellow birch, and conifer swamp.
